We will meet at 10 a.m. Monday, August 11, at the Willow Glen Senior Center. We will continue start our shibori project. Seven looms will be warped and ready for us to experiment with woven shibori. Everyone will have a chance to weave on each of the looms in the next few months. Visitors welcome. Contact us if you need directions. See the calendar for future programs.
The Glenna Harris Guild has an active education program with hands on activities for both young people and adults. Each year guild members participate at county fairs and special events at not-for-profits. Our educational programs can be used in school classrooms and for local youth groups. Please contact us for more information.

This year we have immersed ourselves in the fiber we have on hand. We displayed our efforts in May at the wonderful CNCH Conference in Sacramento.
At the October meeting we dyed T-shirts with mud. Look for a gallery of our results in the next few months. You might see some of us wearing these at the 2008 conference too.
Some members of the Glenna Harris Guild and some members of Fiber Artisans collaborated in weaving Friendship Quilts. The culmination of this project can be seen at http://picasaweb.google.com/dcandrus/
